Zonia Lucero
Host Teacher
I hold an M.A. in Depth Psychology with emphasis on the Creative Life through Pacifica Graduate Institute. I also hold a B.A. in Education from Arizona State University and have 12 years as a professional educator in the public and private sectors. I have non-profit organization experience focused on youth advocacy and the healing of familial wounds.
I have studied healing modalities at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur. My studies have included massage, deep body work, Brazilian light body infusion, 5-rhythms dance, and somatics, such as cortical re-education.
My education has been enriched by indigenous traditions, such as Transcendentalism, Shamanism, and yoga. I have been practicing yoga for over 30 years and have integrated my studies of many traditions as a teacher for over 20 years.
I believe it is primary to connect with Soul Purpose in order to fully authenticate, embody, and experience greater states of happiness, health, and harmony.

Tanquecaxtli Mil Colores
Local Tour Guide Mystic
II was born and raised in Mexico City, but moved to the Mayan Riviera 16 years ago and since then have been working as a paid guide for travelers. I fell in love with nature and soon became interested in the cenote cave systems, the ethnobotany of the Mayan Caribbean, along with the healing potential of sacred plants and shamanic practices.
Using natural materials and plants, I learned to clear energy following my ancestral beliefs and rituals. I am dedicated to my own practices from my native Mexico, but also practice bio-magnetism techniques.
Being a tour guide I've been able to explore and do all the most amazing activities and adventures in Mexico. every day I get to go diving, explore cenotes or pyramids. I have taken many classes in Natural History and collected many certifications. I run my own tour company and focus on combining mysticism, ethnobotanical education and amazing locations together.
